TIMELINE: Eighty Three (83) Days After the May 10, 2010 Elections

When does the “honeymoon period” start? Is it after the candidate wins the elections? Or is it after he assumes office? Does it really matter whether you start early or late if you are headed for the cliff? Both ways that floor will still rush towards you at 9.8 m/sec2.

People will have differing opinions. But one thing they can’t differ about – are the facts.

What are facts? Wikipedia defines facts as

fact [fækt] n
1. an event or thing known to have happened or existed
2. a truth verifiable from experience or observation
3. a piece of information get me all the facts of this case
4. (Law) Law (often plural) an actual event, happening, etc., as distinguished from its legal consequences. Questions of fact are decided by the jury, questions of law by the court or judge
5. (Philosophy) Philosophy a proposition that may be either true or false, as contrasted with an evaluative statement
after (or before) the fact Criminal law after (or before) the commission of the offence an accessory after the fact
as a matter of fact, in fact, in point of fact in reality or actuality
fact of life an inescapable truth, esp an unpleasant one
the fact of the matter the truth

What are the things that have happened eighty three days since the May 10, 2010 elections? The timeline illustrates what has taken place since then.

Where does the Philippines lie eighty three days after the election?

These are the facts. Out of these facts come interpretations that lead to conclusions. Still we need to question – are these the right facts to watch? Are we asking the right questions?

This enough I know – the utility rates and government fees will be higher – but there will be NO NEW TAXES just NEW BORROWINGS. How exactly are we going to pay these borrowings? Go into an orgy of more state-sponsored loans that will put Ponzi to shame. How exactly are we going to generate the massive revenues that will pay off the massive borrowings – given a protectionist environment that restricts our ability to generate revenue?

I don’t see this being addressed in the timeline and the SONA .

We aren’t paying for the bill while Aquino is in power. We will be paying for the bill AFTER Aquino has left.

Douglas Everrett once said – “There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other.”

Out of these facts we will have diverging opinions – all opinions are equal – and reality has a way of taking shape according to the manner an opinion presents how it will take shape. To each his own interpretation, the best view will get the best returns due to foresight – and some will be left with nothing.. or even less.

Seventeen more days then it will be a hundred days after the May 10, 2010 elections – what next, where to – Philippines. SIX YEARS.

  3. He’s even honest enough to admit that he can’t let go of his dependence on his parents’ fame. Damn. It’s proof that he’s not in control.

  4. Whatever happens from this point onwards. Whether we prosper under his leadership or we head for the abyss , remember his words 02/25/2010

“Sa mga nanlalait, hindi lang sa akin, kundi sa panawagan ng panahon, simple lang ang sagot dito: Ito ang ating tadhana (To those who are criticizing not just me but the call of the times, the answer is simple: this is our destiny),” he said.

hanggang kailan magpapalusot ang yellow army?

    After may 10
    *di pa naipoproklama, kinukutya na.

    Before inauguration
    *di pa nakakaupo, nilalait na.

    After inauguration
    *pagbigyan. Baguhan pa lang.

*wala pang 100 days. Pabayaan muna.

  6. Mr Aquino lives in a dream world state… He is the president of the Philippines and is dreaming that he knows everything and is planning to be the ruler of the world…

His arrival will be riding a robot rainbow unicorn singing “Always!”

Nakalimutan mo iyong ➡ “…. huwag ninyo akong sisihin. Eh hindi ko naman ginustong
maging presidente, 😉 dapat si Mar Roxas ang kandidato sa presidente, hindi ba?

Kayo!!! Kayo angn naghikayat sa akin na magi akong presidente… huwang ninyo akong sisihin!
Ang ganda ng buhay ko na senador at nakatira sa bahay ng nanay ko…. kayo ang nagpamilit
na ako ay maging presidente, hindi 🙄 naman ako eh.”

The Honeymoon Press Period of the term of a President; is just an idea, for Presidents, who deceived the voters. They are allowed to learn, from the job? Is this the purpose? He was voted on the agreement that he can tackle the job. That he will institute change. And, told us: he is a source of Hope. Then, he is telling us now to lower our expectations? On the other side;it is like telling us: “I lied to you, the truth is: I have difficulties performing my job.” Noynoy Aquino’s mistakes are very glaring:he is not equipped, with the proper educations and experiences, in the job of Presidency. “Kung talagang wala kang ibubuga; talagang magkalat ka sa inyong trabaho.” This is always the case of my experiences in working with people. You can see competent people: by the results and output of their works…

Learning on the job; is not an option; we have voted for, in a President. He must tell the truth. He must be competent; not pretending to be competent…otherwise, he is just the biggest scammer of the country…If a President’s Credibility is shattered. No one will believe him. Then, he will have difficulties leading the country. This is always the case…

He is now telling us the truth. Yet, he is doing useless gimmicks to booast his popularity. Like that Jumbo Portrait of Santa Cory Aquino, at Luneta Park. We cannot be helped by Santa Cory to solve our: rice and sugar crissis, water crissis, coming Typhoon “Ondoy” crissis, squatters crissis, etc… All he must do: is do his job properly, and produce results. Hacienda Luisita given to his tenants is the first priority. He must not sidestep this issue…

You cannot solve problems by gimmicks…It can entertain people, but the problems remain there…

Ano daw? Over at FV, you were like Prince of Puwersa. In your own realm, don’t be Hari ng Sablay. 😯

Last time I checked our ‘democratic’, check and-balance system, consists of a not-too-strong Executive Branch, two fractious Houses of Congress, and one TRO-driven Judiciary. 😦

And you really want the new president, barely a month in office, to dismantle this dysfunctional, oligarchic, and patronage-laden construct of 65 years? 😕

As that low life creature Gollum would have it, that is

    Precioussss. . . 8)
