Father Jejemon and the Church of Doom

The venerable benign0 obviously made another astute observation, which he consistently does by the way, with his latest post titled “King of Comedy faces the Inquisition”.

Then, straight from the threads came the following comments from Krstine0019

Religious beliefs, no matter how absurd they may appear, must be respected. It is respect that enables him and his friends to post their views here at Anti-Pinoy without the threat of reprisal.

There is nothing “kingly” or “intelligent” with disrespectful behavior or lack of decorum. Intelligence or fame can never compensate for poor manners.

In the end, it all boils down to this: It’s one thing to criticize the irregularities within the Roman Catholic Church and it’s another to mock Catholic rituals just to make people laugh.

**** if someone superimposed the faces of his parents over the bodies of pornstars just because that person has issues with Anti-Pinoy.

really is the hard-hitting intellectual that he claims he is, I dare him to come up with an article bashing Islam and the Muslims.

This of course was in support of another commentor, Gin – who wrote

Yes. Its supposed to be Antipinoy site, not a site to bash somebody else religion. I’m disappointed to turn Antipinoy into an anti religion bashing site.

RESPECT. What if I portray your parents as pornstars doing a blowjob in front of the Quirino Grandstand during the hostage crisis, what would you say.

If we got so easily get mad at Mislang because of her lack of decorum in a foreign country, as if she committed a heinous crime, this is worse because it disrespects the very Body of Christ.

If you have an issue with the church and the Body of Christ, do it in a proper forum. Tell us why we have to take the host lightly and tell us that the host is just plain leaven bread.

Sorry, but your argument shows your lack of class and lack of respect towards other people’s religious feelings.

By the way, please send me your parent pictures and let me put their faces in a pornstars body. That is, if you have an issue with your parents.

Allow me to engage and indulge in this banter.

1. The religious “get offended” when they are “mocked”. But have they considered how the non-religious and the non-believers feel when the religious go out and preach “damnation” for unbelievers. Dudes – before you point someone else’s boogers – clean your stuffy running nose first.

2. Equating the Roman Catholic church as speaking in behalf of all the “religious” is quite ridiculous – considering that the Catholics believe anyone who is not Catholic as damned. In earlier days, non-Catholics will have been burned on the stake, or thrown in boiling oil. Straight up – who needs demons when you have Catholics?

3. Mad at Mislang? Hell no – The more appropriate word is amused, entertained at the COMEDY OF ERRORS!!!

4. Respect works both ways – don’t preach your Catholic doctrine so I don’t take out my cheat sheet from the Skeptic’s Annotated Bible. Oh yes, now would be a good time to watch this clip on open-mindedness. Separate the goat from the sheep, the chaff from the grain.

5. I am just wondering if Mel Brooks got a reprisal when he produced the movie “History of the World”. Here are some scenes. They may not poke fun at the rituals – they sure poke fun at the Bible – which allegedly is the basis of these “rituals”.

And here’s a trailer of the “offensive” Father Jejemon.

Dolphy in Father Jejemon

6. On the matter of the “holy wafer” – have any of the Filipino Catholics bothered to check that the ritual has its origins in an “unholy pagan religion”… The Roman Catholic hierarchy are religious plagiarists of the highest order! Which of course is totally oblivious to their equally clueless flock – who get f*cked by hoodlums and thugs in frocks.

Someone mentioned religion and having an appropriate forum and platform? Here’s more on AP and Religion in case you haven’t been paying attention. 😀

Replies such as the ones provided by kristine and Gin are perfect examples why people should keep their religions to themselves – or risk getting a reply from ulong pare, who in his usual fits of genius .. REPRESENT

daaaang!…. dear god, j.christ, hesusmaryahosep, santas, santos, allah ahkbar, muhammad, abus, buddha, anito, aswang, dwende, santa ate glo, santa ate cory, hudyo, gandhi, sexy gurlz:… PLEASE NAMAN, SAVE ME FROM YOUR STUPID FOLLOWERS! (caps, to seriously plead from gung gong religious fanatics to spare me!)

Get the drift? 😀

A comedy site but they are more educated than some commenters we have here in Antipinoy.

  2. Church of Doom is right! We are doomed as long as that is the kind of church we pledge allegiance to. I saw those deleted scenes, and I thought it was funny. Being offended by them would be ridiculous…but then again, this is da Pinas…where stupidity rules.

Bad thing about Flippinos is THEY CANNOT SEPARATE REALITY AND FANTASY.  Civilized educated world of Europe, Canada, and America Separate the State and the church, NOT ONLY THAT, they can separate what God can do and What their government are capable to do, NOT ONLY THAT, these civilized people PRAYS ONLY WHEN NOTHING ELSE WORKS!

Filipino just pray and pray.  When civilized world pardon Philippine debt, they thoughted their prayers were answered.  ANSWERED BY WHOM?  By the civilized nations that prostituted filipinos’ religion.  AND FILIPINOS JUST DO NOT GET IT!  DUH!

  4. Renato Pacifico · ·

Angelace, naman, naman, naman.  Education is the bane of religion.  Ignorance and illiteracy spreads religion.  MERRY CHRISTMAS 🙂

  5. Hyden Toro · ·

Hey Dolphy may be possessed by an Evil Spirit. A Rite of Exorcism is needed on him. Or, maybe torture. Or be ready with the Stake. So, that we can burn him. To drive away the Evil Spirit inside his body.

Or is it the other way around?

  6. @ Renato: lol…tama ka dyan hahaha 😀

daaang! … reposted posted posts replying to religious posts posted in various blog postings (ay sus ginoo, matutuyo ang regla ko sa ninyo): “my thingy about religion is that religion is like a big d!ck (sorta like mine)… keep it to yourself and do not, i repeat, DO NOT shove it down your and other children’s throat… DO guide and DO teach the children the right way as you know it, to the best of your ability, free of/from any religious dogma, and let the children as they grow up to decide for themselves… my pesonal experience is that the most devout (religious) gung gongs are the most wicked… ANYBODY WHO COULD CONVICE ME THAT KILLINGS/MURDER ARE INSTRUMENTS OF GOD, I’LL JOIN YOU… (caveat: only if i keep the purse/tithe/abuloy bank account and a sexy gurl to assist)…

Dolphy knows whereof he speaks.  He jumps bed from one woman to another and still getting richer.  God cannot punish Dolphy.  He is rewarded by God.

  9. Renato Pacifico · ·

Amen, to that!  Lookit, nobody listens to Padre Damaso’s sermon.  Not one.  I made a study.  I stooden outside the bowels of the church.  When they came out I intervidewed each one of them.  I got similar answers from everyone! “totoy, I do not know what the priests were tolkin’ ’bout.  I was there because the priest is handsome!”

  10. All religion’s in the world were created to control humanity. We have to analyse are we working “with the mind or for the mind”…Once a thought gets in the mind…most of the times…instead of you guiding the thought…the thought guides you…thats  what is happening to religion…the idea of religion is controlling humanity instead of other way around…

99% of humanity is mind controlled…thoughts and ideas are ruling them instead of being the other way around….very few people are in the self…everyone reflects just an outside persona..which is the fake world we are living in….

Every individual needs to create his own self and face the suffering of fake persona…

As Carl Jung said “The foundation of all mental illness is the unwillingness to experience legitamate suffering”

  11. Hyden Toro · ·

Maybe, the Evil Spirit is possessed by Dolphy…so, we Exorcise Dolphy out of the Evil Spirit…these Priests and Bishops have no sense of humor…

  12. To back up the author. The Holy Communion came from the religion of Mithraism, originated in Persia and imported into the Roman Empire by the soldiers, there  where the followers were sharing the bread just like in the Holy Communion.

get ready to shite your pants in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSm7YPMQOSo

If relihiyon is so stuck with tradition, practices and symbolism, the church should ban its followers from eating Apple.  Apple is symbol of sin.  Yet, people of christianity eat apple because their doctor says “An Apple a Day Makes Satan Happy and Gay”.
2nd, Apple, the company, is hot in the Dow.  Vatican even invest in Apple made simple by Steve Jobs who is a Jew.  SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH CHRISTIAN’S SYMBOLISM.

  14. History of the World! Mel Brooks movies rock! 😉

  15. Evil Bible · ·

Ulong Pare, Killing is legal because the Bible (word of God) says so

Kill People Who Don’t Listen to Priests (Gasp! oh no Blasphemy)

Anyone arrogant enough to reject the verdict of the judge or of the priest who represents the LORD your God must be put to death. Such evil must be purged from Israel. (Deuteronomy 17:12 NLT)

Kill Homosexuals (but my best friend is gay and he’s a good person does his sexuality means he’s Abominable?)
“If a man lies with a male as with a women, both of them shall be put to death for their abominable deed; they have forfeited their lives.” (Leviticus 20:13 NAB)

Kill Fortunetellers (dami d2 sa pinas, let’s go!)

A man or a woman who acts as a medium or fortuneteller shall be put to death by stoning; they have no one but themselves to blame for their death. (Leviticus 20:27 NAB)

Death for Cursing Parents (wow going to the extreme talaga)

    1) If one curses his father or mother, his lamp will go out at the coming of darkness. (Proverbs 20:20 NAB)

    2) All who curse their father or mother must be put to death. They are guilty of a capital offense. (Leviticus 20:9 NLT)

Death for Adultery (only qualifies in the middle east)

If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife, both the man and the woman must be put to death. (Leviticus 20:10 NLT)

Death for Fornication (where is that playboy pinsan of mine?)

A priest’s daughter who loses her honor by committing fornication and thereby dishonors her father also, shall be burned to death. (Leviticus 21:9 NAB)

Death to Followers of Other Religions (yey! kill the infidels!)

Whoever sacrifices to any god, except the Lord alone, shall be doomed. (Exodus 22:19 NAB)

Kill Nonbelievers (how come Salman Rushdie is still alive? hmmmmmm)

They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB)

Mass Murder (is still practiced today!)

This is what the Lord of hosts has to say: ‘I will punish what Amalek did to Israel when he barred his way as he was coming up from Egypt. Go, now, attack Amalek, and deal with him and all that he has under the ban. Do not spare him, but kill men and women, children and infants, oxen and sheep, camels and asses.’ (1 Samuel 15:2-3 NAB)

    The Bible also supports:
    Ritual Human Sacrifice

Have you even considered that it was Mithraism that copied from Catholicism? Existing documentation proves this fact.
